Charles Schwab announced Schwab Crypto on 16 April 2026, a separate crypto account offered by Charles Schwab Premier Bank, SSB and linked to clients’ brokerage accounts; on 27 August 2026 Schwab said the service began rolling out to clients in May 2026 and provides direct bitcoin and ethereum trading, with Solana, Avalanche and Chainlink to be added.
