Commonwealth Bank of Australia, J.P. Morgan, ASX and HQLAX said on 18 May 2026 they had completed their collaboration under Project Acacia, led by the Reserve Bank of Australia and the DFCRC. Repo transactions were settled using CBA Deposit Token and wholesale Australian Dollar CBDC, with the securities leg orchestrated on the HQLAX platform using tokenised assets held at ASX.
Scope: Project Acacia use case (RBA and DFCRC); controlled test environment.
