DekaBank starts crypto offer for Sparkassen customers

DekaBank, the asset manager of the German Sparkassen, said it is offering Sparkassen customers in Germany the option to invest in selected cryptocurrencies through the 'Sparkasse' app, with custody and trading via a Deka wallet. Trading starts with five cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Polygon) and an order fee of 0.99 euros; the roll-out is gradual over the coming months and each Sparkasse decides on its own whether to integrate the offer.
